A letter from Rocket® Human Resources Department
To our valued Team Members,
We are happy to announce our partnership with a local company serving seniors and their families. Many of you have friends and family members who may rely on you for support and information. We understand that showing up for work, parenting your kids, tending to other demands in your life can sometimes make it difficult to turn your full attention to a senior loved one who needs your help, as much as you want to do that.
In working with Senior Care Authority, we know that there is help available on so many levels and in so many ways to ease your burden. Caregiving can be a complex and daunting undertaking – we want to help you with that by making a connection with resources that address those very needs.
Human Resources can answer questions about these resources, or you can reach out to Senior Care Authority to speak directly with an advisor. The consultation is always at no cost to you and will help give you an idea of what you can expect.
We appreciate you, our Team Members, and wish to help you stay happy, healthy, and practicing good stress management in your lives.
Sincerely,
Vice President, Human Resources

As a young woman, Tammi was faced with the decision between two careers that spoke to her desire to make a difference—teaching and social work. She chose teaching and had a successful and fulfilling fifteen years in education. Feeling it was time to change direction while still helping families, she transitioned into eldercare consulting and placement. Before doing this work professionally, Tammi witnessed firsthand the challenges families face when making care decisions for a loved one. Her compassion, empathy, and practical wisdom allow her to assist families in all stages of care that older adults may require. She understands the emotional strain and stress that come with these important decisions and works to ease that burden.
As a Michigan native, Tammi spends much of her time visiting and reviewing senior living communities across the Detroit area, including assisted living, independent living, memory care, residential care homes, and skilled nursing facilities. She helps families navigate the complexities of senior care by assessing their needs, coordinating and accompanying them on facility visits, assisting with paperwork, and providing continued support after placement. If immediate placement is not needed, she connects families with valuable community resources.
Tammi is proud to lead a dedicated team of professionals who share her passion for helping families. Her Detroit-based team—Todd Schuver, Kim Alexander Mota, and Payton Antos—brings a combined 20+ years of experience in senior living. Together, they provide compassionate guidance and expert insight, ensuring families receive the highest level of support and care.
Tammi holds a Bachelor's Degree from Michigan State University and a Master's Degree from Saginaw Valley State University. She is married with three children and enjoys boating, traveling, running, reading, and spending time with her family when she isn’t working with seniors.
